We have plenty to offer guests in the way of activities in the area. There are lots of beautiful walks around the Glenkilrie Estate or within a mile you can find yourself on the newly established Cateran Trail (old drove road), which will take you through Glenshee and the surrounding area.

Glenshee Ski Centre, which hosts the largest amount of lifts in Scotland, is only a twenty minute drive from us. Pony trekking and cycling can also be arranged in the nearby village of Kirkmichael.

For those who are interested in the history of Scotland Glamis Castle, Balmoral Castle and Royal Deeside, Scone Palace and Blair Castle are all within a one hour drive from Glenkilrie.

For the sportsperson there are also a few golf courses locally and The Famous Old Course at St Andrews is within reasonable distance.

Shooting can also be arranged and Glenkilrie also has approximately a one mile stretch of the River Blackwater, which can be fished throughout the summer months for salmon and sea trout.
